This is an antique American Brilliant Period cut glass bowl, likely dating from 1876-1914.
This is a shallow bowl (7 1/4 in deep) with stunning engraved flowers and hobstar design. It has a scalloped sawtooth edge. It's decorated on the exterior with deep cut leaves and highly detailed wire-wheel engraved flowers. in the center of each flower is an expertly cut hobstar.
It's a heavy piece (2 lbs)
The bowl is in good antique condition. Please keep in mind that the piece is likely over one hundred years, old and it's been loved for generations. So, as expected for pieces this old the bowl has multiple tiny chips and scratches that are not immediately noticeable ( see pictures; I've marked the chips with blue tape) most of them are very small and are not sharp.
The bowl is still beautiful and in usable condition, waiting for someone to love it for another hundred years.
